No data protection officer has been appointed, as the thresholds of § 38 BDSG are not met.
When you open this site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the site and in defending against attacks. Log files are deleted automatically after 7 days. This data is not combined with any other source.
The processor is ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
If you write to me, I process what you send in order to answer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on my legitimate interest in responding.
Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
My iOS applications process different data and have their own notice: Privacy Policy for the applications.
You have the right of access to the data concerning you (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Werderstraße 74a, 19055 Schwerin, Germany.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Here this concerns the server log files and the handling of enquiries. I will then stop processing the data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. An informal message to info@claudiusthelen.com is sufficient.
